Menzerna – Heavy Cut Compound 1100 (ex FG500)
Lambswool-optimized car polish cutting compound for the removal of sanding marks.
Menzerna’s Heavy Cut Compound (HCC) 1100 is an alternative cutting compound optimized for use with lambswool (reportedly works wonders with spider foam pads also). As Menzerna’s most lubricated cutting compound, this highly effective compound quickly removes scratches, severe signs of use, and 1500 grit sanding marks but greatly resists dusting, even in hot climates. HCC 1100 was formerly known as FG 500.

Precautions: Contains petroleum distillates, hydrocarbons, aromatics, and other potentially hazardous chemicals; wear appropriate safety clothing and respiratory protection. Can cause serious eye irritation if directly exposed. Do not allow product to reach sewage systems or water course; inform authorities in case of seepage. Keep in mind that polishing automotive paint necessarily removes small amounts of material from your clear coat. Menzerna paint polishes are professional products capable of removing significant amounts of surface material; misuse could lead to burnt paint or you polishing entirely through your clear coat. Use your least aggressive polishes, pads, and machines first unless you are very familiar with your work surface, tools, and these products.
